Job Description

The Business Management Analyst must develop an understanding of the underlying business processes they support and demonstrate a proven ability to work independently and apply this knowledge in support of Treasury’s Program Management Office team. Focusing on process improvement, policy compliance, and project management, this position will need to excel at problem solving and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners to improve business outcomes. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with oversight and ongoing management of Treasury’s access management program 

  • Assist with monitoring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements 

  • Problem solve issues that arise in the normal course of business 

  • Help continually improve operational efficiency across Treasury organization 

  • Serve as point of contact with internal groups as well as external counterparties and vendors (e.g. risk management, corporate finance, procurement, technology) 

  • Manage vendor risk process 

  • Build and manage strong relationships with stakeholders in 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines of defenses to ensure policies and procedures are implemented with appropriate impact. 

  • Participate in ad-hoc working groups to address and resolve new areas of risk within area of responsibility. 

  • Keep up-to-date on changes in laws, regulations, agency and Bank policy impacting assigned focus areas and promptly communicate this information to the team. · Prepare project/program status reports; make alterations in project plans as needed. 

  • Assist with or prepare project implementation steps and documentation as appropriate; ensure a smooth implementation of project; resolve problems.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five to eight years of experience in project management activities

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple activities with competing deadlines using strong organizational and analytical skills

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- Demonstrates a strong sense of individual accountability and is autonomous, action orientated, and pragmatic

- Ability to deal effectively with other bank personnel, vendors, and other financial institutions

- Knowledge of project management techniques

- Demonstrate initiative and good judgment

- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and analyze data

- Proficient in using Business Admin tools, e.g.: SharePoint; Visio; Access; Excel, and Word

-Strong planning and leadership skills

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00 - $120,120.00
