Cloud Security Engineer

Velotio Technologies is a product engineering company working with innovative startups and enterprises. We have provided full-stack product development for 110+ startups across the globe, building products in the cloud-native, data engineering, B2B SaaS, IoT & Machine Learning space. Our team of 400+ elite software engineers solves hard technical problems while transforming customer ideas into successful products.

  • Create automation using scripts and tools to speed up or remove tedious processes for identity and access where required.
  • Fulfill access requests within privileged access management tools (SailPoint)
  • Design roles for just in time and role based persistent access for people and systems (service accounts and regular identity)
  • Provide technical support for Single-Sign-On integration
  • Administer identity for IDP such as Okta and Ping and on such cloud platforms as Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Analyze and provide insights on access requests involving Cloud IAM roles and automation

You are a detail-oriented and proactive security engineer with a passion for cloud security and automation. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are always looking for ways to improve processes and enhance security measures.

Requirement and Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5+year of professional experience in security/cloud/software development
  • Proven work experience with cloud environments, cloud security or a related field.
  • Comfortable administering privileged access management tools
  • Comfortable working with IAM roles in public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Experienced with with systems administration tasks for Windows and or Linux
  • Comfortable with with network domain administration including working with firewalls and identity stores like Active Directory
  • You can clearly communicate, explaining identity and access at all levels
  • You are flexible and work independently on ad hoc technical activities and split time between multiple projects and activities (multi-tasking capabilities)
  • Scripting and infrastructure automation skills, such as Python, Ruby, and Terraform
  • Experienced with service desk software and ticketing fulfillment
