Location: Hybrid, based in Warsaw / Kraków / Gdańsk

Salary: up to 14.000 PLN net B2B or 12.000 gross Contract of Employment

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Specialist who will focus on managing the end-to-end accounts receivable process to make an impact working within our Finance Team. The desired candidate is an independent, reliable person with a couple of years of experience in finance (preferably accounts receivable teams / departments). Reporting directly to the Head of Finance Poland, this role will be responsible for supporting, performing, and managing the finance-related parts of the order to cash processes across the Volt group.

You will have a considerable amount of responsibility, autonomy, and creative freedom to help build a best-in-class Finance function.

What the role involves

  • Managing accounts receivable, including preparing sales data for invoicing, issuing invoices and credit notes, and reconciling incoming payments
  • Supporting accounts payable processes 
  • Supporting the reporting for both management and statutory purposes
  • Helping in preparation of various financial analyses and ad-hoc reports
  • Supporting the improvement of all the financial processes in the organization
  • Acting as a business partner for technology and commercial teams

About you

  • At least 3, preferably 4-5 years of experience in accounting or other finance roles
  • Hands-on experience in invoicing and/or cash collection processes will be a strong asset
  • Fintech experience is a plus but not a must
  • Experience in working with Netsuite is a plus, 
  • MS Excel and Google Spreadsheets working knowledge
  • Basic understanding of PL & UK GAAPs
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
  • Working knowledge of Business English

What happens next?

  • Selected candidates will be invited for an initial interview with our People & Culture representative. The video meeting will take about 30 minutes.
  • After consideration, selected candidates will be asked to solve an Excel test within 40 minutes of receiving it (we will agree on when the task will be sent). 
  • Then it’s time for a second interview! The meeting will be conducted by our Head of Finance and will last about 45 minutes,
  • Our SVP Finance would also like to chat with you :) You can expect the meeting to last approximately 30 minutes,
  • If successful, you will be given a job offer proposal.

  • During the week we mostly work remotely but for those who prefer to be in the office we arranged coworking spaces in Warsaw (Business Link Astoria) and Cracow (Loftmill),
