VP Supply Corp is one of the nation’s largest distributors of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical supplies. We have over 350 employees with 16 locations across Western New York and Pennsylvania. For over 50 years, we have proudly served residential customers as well as contractors and municipalities across a variety of industries. 


Position Overview:


VP Supply is seeking to hire a Kitchen & Bath Showroom Sales Associate with at least 2 years of showroom/design sales experience to join our Syracuse showroom. We have 7 showroom locations across NYS and Pennsylvania, and we offer all of the latest kitchen cabinetry, countertops, bath & kitchen plumbing products and lighting. 


Schedule: Tuesday - Thursday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM & Saturday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM


We are looking for high performers who are forward-looking, innovative, enthusiastic, and ambitious team players. Qualified candidates will be motivated self-starters with superb judgment and communication skills, a commitment to excellence and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This position would allow the right candidate the freedom to build strong customer relationships and their own book of business/personal brand


Responsibilities:

  • Work with homeowners, builders, and contractors in regard to new construction and remodeling projects. 
  • Continuously stay apprised of design trends and product lines to properly assist customers with selections.
  • Provide accurate field measurements and drawing of projects.
  • Utilize 20/20 Design Program software to create renderings of customer’s finished project.
  • Provide sales and consulting services to trade/design customers, industry partners, and retail customers. 
  • Provide superior customer service to both VP’s existing and potential customer base to ensure complete customer satisfaction.  
  • Generate quotes for current and prospective clients.  
  • Coordinate orders, project timeline and follow through.
  • Solve problems, maintain an open communication dialog with vendors and customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and their representatives.
  • Coordinate scheduled showroom visits, as well as handle walk-in customer appointments. 

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience creating kitchen & bath designs from space planning, layout, and appliance locations. 
  • Bath or lighting background/product knowledge, highly desired. 
  • Must have experience using 20/20 design program and be proficient in Microsoft Office. 
  • Must be detailed oriented and able to meet customer deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to time sensitive commitments to respond to customers and deliver excellent customer service to both home improvement customers and contractors.
  • Ability to follow up.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
