Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Principal Software Engineer to join our EBS Risk Technology organization. A minimum of 15+ years of Software Engineering experience and having played 2+ architect roles is required. This role requires an individual who is a subject matter expert in observability, continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD), systems architecture, ML/AI, and software engineering. You will be instrumental in guiding our technology strategy and driving operational excellence across the organization.   • Serve as a subject matter expert in observability, CI/CD, systems architecture, and software engineering.

  • Provide strategic guidance and hands-on support in the development of best practices, architectural designs, and technology solutions.

  • Lead and mentor teams in the implementation of complex systems, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the continuous improvement of our technology stack and processes.

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in software engineering, advocating for their adoption where appropriate.

  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and resilient systems that meet business goals and customer needs.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
