Position Summary...

As a Senior Manager of Software Engineering, you will lead a talented team of engineers focused on transforming the accounts payable post-match ecosystem. This role is at the heart of building intelligent, scalable solutions that streamline supplier dispute resolution, invoice exception handling, and financial operations through automation and integration.
You will be responsible for delivering core capabilities across our post-match services landscape—dispute automation, self-service tools, exception processing frameworks, and actionable reporting self serve platforms. A key focus will be driving platform enhancements that improve efficiency, reduce average handling time, and unlock data-driven insights through modern engineering practices.
Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the technical vision, ensuring solution scalability, and fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture.

What you'll do...

About Team: 
Our team is focused on developing a streamlined, dependable company that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, and Associate Digital Experience (ADE). We also provide a variety of services such as procurement, supplier portfolio management, merchandising master data, and analytics. From developing HR chatbots and virtual assistants to creating invoice solutions and facilitating legal changes, we help drive efficiency across Walmart globally. 

What you'll do:

 

  • Build, develop and guide high-performing talent for the Corporate Real estate Systems engineering team. 
  • Create scalable and sustainable framework for 3rd party product integration in to Walmart environment
  • Own and Manage relationship with vendors that has integration touchpoints with our Corporate real-estate software solutions
  • Create operational support structure that enables best customer experience for onsite associates across the global locations.
  • Create a collaborative environment across geography for delivering best services to our end users across in our Distribution Centers around the world. 
  • Engage and guide the team technically. Get involved in design and architecture and hands on coding if required. 
  • Define a long-term talent development and support strategy cutting across technology roles.  
  • Engage with leadership across the world and set up strategies and priorities to maintain the platform   
  • Own and support delivery for all applications in your area of responsibility.  
  • Provide supervision, mentoring and development opportunities for associates who report into you.

  • Deep knowledge of frontend technologies, particularly in mobile, optimizing for scalability, performance, and developer efficiency.
  • Experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams to align on platform goals.
  • Strong business acumen, integrating technical vision with strategic business insights.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...

Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area. Option 2: 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
2 years’ supervisory experience.
