As a (Senior) Product Designer (all genders) at Wemolo with a strong focus on research, you’ll rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences - from concept to execution. In this role, you will be a key player in shaping the user experience of our products, working closely with cross-functional teams to create user-centered designs that drive business success.

What to expect

  • Lead Design Projects: Oversee and lead the design process from initial research and discovery through to final product design, ensuring a seamless and cohesive user experience

  • Research-Driven Design: Conduct and integrate user research, market analysis, and data-driven insights into your design process, ensuring that all design decisions are grounded in a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors

  • End-to-End Ownership: Take full responsibility for the user experience of a specific product or feature, from concept to launch, collaborating with product managers and engineers

  • Strategic Contribution: Play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of Wemolo’s products by contributing to strategic design discussions and decisions

  • Various focuses - B2B and B2C: On the one hand, you analyse the customer experience of our direct customers (e.g. with our customer dashboard) and on the other hand, you deal with the experience of the people parking in the parking lots we manage (e.g. with our payment terminals)

  • Cross functional collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate research insights into innovative ideas, concepts, and final designs

  • Business Translation: Translate customer insights into quantifiable business opportunities, delivering actionable insights to diverse audiences, from product peers to senior leadership

Inspire us by

  • Educational Background: A degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Design, Communication Design, or a related field.

  • Professional Experience: You have at least 3+ years of professional in-house experience as a Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your UX and UI design skills in a software development environment

  • Design Systems: Proficient in working with and contributing to design systems, particularly in Figma

  • Research Expertise: Demonstrated experience in leading user research initiatives and integrating research findings into the design process

  • Data-Driven Design: Experience using data and research to identify problems, develop solutions, and inform design decisions

  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with business process management, process excellence, or related technologies

  • Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality design solutions

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders

  • Your Language Skills: Strong written and spoken German and English (level C1 on the CEFR scale)
