Because of our growth, we are seeking an experienced CAD Technician Intern in the Houston, TX area.
As part of the Water transportation team you will have the opportunity to contribute to water and roadway plans on some of the largest transportation and water projects in Houston. Work will include collaboration on multi-discipline projects with other technicians and engineers in the roadway and structural groups.
• Must have working knowledge of either MicroStation V8i and/or AutoCAD• Modify drawings as directed by engineer or design coordinator• Drafts and prepares engineering plans and exhibits from field data, sketches, drawings, raw data, diagrams and/or verbal/written instructions• Must be detail oriented. Performs project redlines to complete quality plan deliverables with minimal supervision• Familiarity with CAD standards• Ensure quality control in compliance with CADD standards.• Project file organization experience• Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to work well in a team environment• Strong work ethic with desire to work in a production environment
