The Deal Operations team is hiring an experienced Senior Associate Deal Operations Specialist to support the Sales Team on a wide range of deals spanning across new prospects, existing customer renewals, true ups and M&A transactions.

About the Role

Workday is seeking a versatile Senior Associate Deal Operations Specialist to join our Deal Operations Team. Our employees are at the core of our business, which means the ideal candidate has a partnership mentality acting as a trusted advisor to guide and collaborate with Sales Executives on deal strategy and problem solving challenges to support non-standard deal closure. Success in the role requires a candidate that is analytical, detail oriented, process-minded and thrives in a fast-paced environment while efficiently multitasking.

 

As a Senior Associate Deal Operations Specialist, you will assist Sales Account Executives (i) Develop strategies for a variety of deal scenarios, (ii) Support Sales throughout the deal cycles, (iii) Facilitate conversations across Customer Care, Legal, Finance, Deal Operations, and Sales teams, (iv) Perform deal calculations in the quoting tool and potentially offline in MS Excel/Google Sheets and prepare and modify contract documents, (v) Manage the negotiations process including redlines on commercial documents; (vi) Work in a flex model environment of 50% in office/50% remote each fiscal quarter.

Como especialista asociado sénior en operaciones de acuerdos, deberá ayudar a los ejecutivos de cuentas de Ventas a (i) desarrollar estrategias en una variedad de escenarios de acuerdos, (ii) dar soporte a Ventas durante los ciclos de los acuerdos, (iii) facilitar las conversaciones entre los equipos de Atención al Cliente, Asuntos Legales, Finanzas, Operaciones de Acuerdos y Ventas, (iv) realizar cálculos para los acuerdos con la herramienta de cotización y potencialmente sin conexión en MS Excel/Google Sheets, y preparar y modificar documentos contractuales, (v) gestionar el proceso de negociaciones, incluidas las modificaciones en documentos comerciales; (vi) trabajar en un entorno de modelo flexible de 50 % del tiempo en la oficina y 50 % a distancia cada trimestre fiscal.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience or more working in Sales Operations, Deal Management, or Renewal Management.
  • It is essential to be bilingual in Spanish and English.

  • Experience responding to contract edits, AKA "red lines."
  • Demonstrated experience working with a fast-paced Sales team.
  • Experience facilitating deal completion with adjacent teams, such as Legal, Revenue Recognition, and Deal Operations.

  • Con título universitario o experiencia equivalente.
  • Gran dominio de Salesforce y Apttus.
