WVU Medicine, West Virginia University Health System Medical Group (WVUHS Medical Group) is actively recruiting a Hospitalist Physician, at Thomas Health System in Charleston, WV and South Charleston, WV.  


Duties: Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with disease and injuries of the human internal organ system and establish preventive health practices for patients.

Qualifications: M.D. or D.O. degree or foreign equivalent. Completed residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and West Virginia Medical License eligible. Board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Location: West Virginia’s capital city is perfectly positioned at the confluence of the Kanawha and Elk rivers. It’s also where three major interstates converge, making it a highly accessible destination for visitors looking for an affordable getaway. Charleston boasts the history you’d expect of a capital city, but a growing arts scene and its riverside position makes it a hub for recreation and culture, too.
