About the opportunity

Join our SaaS Product Vertical as Senior Product Manager in Australia to make a real impact every day. We say that because we know that every conversation we have, every code line we write and every interface we design is another opportunity for us to enrich our customers’ experiences.

Our Global Gym Management Software is dedicated to our vision of motivating, educating, and inspiring individuals to lead healthier lifestyles. Our ‘member-centric’ fitness software powers gyms worldwide, and we’re expanding our team in Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) to drive innovation in this market.

Reporting into VP of Product you will help us lead product initiatives within the ANZ region. Some of the other responsibilities include:

Research & Strategy

  • Lead research efforts, conducting customer interviews, data analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
  • Translate insights into data-driven strategies that align with Xplor’s business goals.

Customer & Market Understanding

  • Engage with current and prospective customers to deeply understand their pain points and evolving business needs.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation based on industry trends and customer behaviour.

Product Leadership & Execution

  • Own the planning, vision, and roadmap for the ANZ market.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to execute high-impact product initiatives.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a trusted partner for internal teams, including sales, marketing, and support, ensuring seamless product launches.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, setting clear expectations and ensuring alignment on product priorities.

Travel & Market Immersion

  • Be proactively present in the market – visiting gyms, talking to owners, and attending industry events.
  • Use firsthand customer insights to refine feature priorities and go-to-market strategies.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Define key success metrics and iterate based on performance data.
  • Ensure continuous measurement, learning, and optimisation of product experiences.

Location: In this position, you can work from home 100% in Australia, provided you have working rights. However, preference will be given to Melbourne-based candidates who can join the wider team in our office and frequently connect with our local customers.

Required qualifications for this role:

  • Extensive experience in product management, preferably in health & fitness, SaaS, or a related industry.
  • track record of shaping strategy and delivering impactful products.
  • Strong research, analytical, and synthesis skills – the ability to turn insights into action.
  • Experience working closely with customers, conducting interviews, and synthesising qualitative and quantitative feedback.
  • Ability to operate with high autonomy, making strategic decisions that drive measurable business impact.
  • Comfort with engaging executive stakeholders and presenting a clear product vision.
  • Experience in an Agile Scrum environment, managing roadmaps, backlog grooming, and iterative releases.
  • Excellent communication skills – capable of influencing teams and aligning stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel within ANZ for customer visits and market research.
  • Can synthesise insights from data, market trends, and customer feedback to drive business outcomes.
  • Can work independently, manage complexity, and influence key decisions.

This role suits an existing product leader at a Start-up or Senior/Group Product Manager in a similar size company looking for their next step-up.
