Pros
- The solution is category defining and did not exist a few years ago, this makes for very engaging and interesting conversations with prospective clients. - The CEO is focused on culture and practices empathy and awareness, and is always focused on improving the company and himself. I appreciate his leadership style and open approach to leading. - The NYC office is centrally located in a we-work-like setup, and we're in office once a week but some people choose to go in more. For me, I like having the option to go into the office and people are actually there. Now, from an AE perspective... - Our engineering team is brilliant, and this shows itself in the solution. It's extremely straight forward to show the value of Intenseye to a prospective client. Non-technical users can use it, which makes the sales processes much easier. - We have a lot of inbound leads. While it isn't perfect and it's always being worked on, it isn't uncommon to have a real, enterprise deal thrown onto your calendar on a weekly basis. Sometimes, it could be 2 or 3 per week. In the world I come from, that is unheard of and is extremely refreshing to have. - Salary and commission plans are solid. Market rate to above average, and there are a few different levels of AE here, so if you want to stay an IC you have a path to make more money and take on more responsibility. The top levels get paid way above market rate. - Your colleagues are all good people, everyone will help you if you ask and everyone is friendly. - Tenured AEs with experience should do well here. It isn't unrealistic to be running demonstrations within 1-2 months and closing a 6 figure deal in around 6-9 months, if not faster. - You will get to work with large, household brands within month(s). These accounts have a lot of upside as you expand your footprint over time. - CEO is very tech-friendly and is always adding onto and improving our tech stack. - Benefits are solid - 6 weeks vacation, matching 401K with vesting up front, fully paid for insurance, etc. Overall, Intenseye has all of the key elements in a company I want. Empathetic leaders, a solid culture, great product, a team-based environment, and great pay & benefits, and a fast growing organization.Cons
- Some processes are still being fleshed out, but you'd expect that from a Series A company. - Because we're still hiring for key leadership roles, sometimes things take more time to complete as the CEO is being pulled in 20 different directions. I have no doubt that once those leadership roles are filled this won't be a problem.Forbes’ AI 50 List, Forbes, 2022
