Learn this life-changing habit

Today, I want to talk about the one little habit you can develop that can change your life forever.


An average person has thousands of thoughts per day. 


That’s a lot of thoughts… 😫


What’s just as surprising is that most of these thoughts are unconscious — our conscious brain can only hold four to seven pieces of information at the same time.


Our thoughts are important because they’re directly linked to the results we create in our lives.


So, if we’re thinking something negative about ourselves, we’re going to feel bad about ourselves. And ultimately, the actions we’re going to take will not serve us.


On the other hand, if we’re thinking positive thoughts and feeling really good and energized, we will take actions that have more positive energy.


Becoming more conscious of my thoughts has been life-changing for me. It’s helped me create positive results in my life and my career.


I want to be clear, though — this doesn’t mean that you should never have negative thoughts! It’s so important to acknowledge and allow the difficult experiences just as much as it is to allow the positive. 


My invitation here is to simply develop a habit that will increase your self-awareness. 


Here are some prompts to help you with this:


  • Jot down your thoughts — everything you’re currently thinking.
  • How do you feel? See if you can label the emotion. Use this chart. 
  • What’s the action you feel called to take from this place?


This is something you can do time and time again.
