Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

  • Plans and assists in managing the integration and implementation of new technology.
  • Guides and provides direction for projects.
  • Responsible for solving highly technical and complex problems for several projects.
  • Sought as a resource for resolution of unique or complex business problems.
  • Develops enterprise-level application or system solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions and features.
  • Develops programming and development standards and procedures as well as programming architectures for code reuse.
  • Has knowledge of state-of-the art programming languages and uses object-oriented approaches to build scalable, stable and secure frameworks, platforms, or applications that meet business requirements and integrate with existing software.
  • Troubleshoots cloud issues/failures and resolves alerts and performs remediation activities.
  • Develop sound and trusted relationships with internal and external customers by providing accurate and efficient technical/engineering support and updates.
  • Keep technically current with the industry standards with a strong ability to perform IT research about new technologies.
  • Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience with .net, C Sharp development
  • Managing/monitoring/configuring/troubleshooting.
  • Strong skills with designing software solutions
  • Specific demonstrated experience mapping business processes and comparing those processes to industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in scripting of deployments.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Development or Systems Engineer
  • Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL v3 framework (certification preferred).
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize multiple projects with aggressive due dates.
  • Excellent understanding of network, system and application security.
  • Knowledge in creation and maintaining fully automated CI/CD pipelines for code deployment
  • Experience using technologies like Jenkins, Rancher, Kubernetes would be an added plus

Industry and Work Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in progressively complex IT technical roles within an enterprise environment.
  • 5+ years of experience working with .net development.

Academic:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required or minimum of 7 years related work experience.
