Account Executive, BioPharma, North Central

10x Genomics is looking for an Account Executive for the North Central territory to handle field sales with a focus on Next Gen Sequencing technology and biotech accounts.

Skills

Strong technical knowledge in Next Gen Sequencing.
Sales experience in Life Sciences.
Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate technical credibility to consult with customers on technology solutions.
Demonstrate funnel management skills with strong hunting/prospecting and closing skills.
Commit to rigorous territory planning, market knowledge, and forecasting.
Develop and manage to a business plan to meet or exceed business goals.
Understand scientific project needs and business needs of the customer.
Manage sales process including forecasting, pipeline management, and sales tracking.
Maintain current knowledge of genetic analysis markets and products.
Utilize product knowledge to conduct effective selling presentations.
Identify and recruit new salespeople as required.
Ensure customer satisfaction.
Represent the company professionally and ethically.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
