Are you a current undergraduate student who is passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion? Are you looking for a Procurement Internship for the summer of 2024? If you've got an appetite for an exciting career, apply now for Nestlé's 2023 virtual Diversity Leadership Symposium (DLS)! It's a three-day, professional development and hiring event, taking place from August 15-17, 2023, for college students of diverse backgrounds! If selected to participate in the symposium, you will learn about Nestle’s winning culture, network with peers & current Nestlé employees, and interview for our 2024 Nestlé USA Procurement Internship!

What to expect
At Nestlé USA, our Procurement team is driven by the desire to deliver world-class service and support to our trusted retail partners. Inspired by our company's 4 Ways of Winning - Speed, Agility, Courage, and collaboration - Nestlé Procurement professionals strive to efficneltly and effectively distribute products "whereever and whenever" needed while fulfilling our commitments and delivering outstanding value to our customers.

Nestlé offers a 10-week internship program where you are provided with the experience and knowledge essential for a career within Procurement. This is a project-based internship, where each intern will own and deliver a project from start to finish during their time with Nestlé USA Procurement. Each project will be addressing a gap within the function and driving tangible value for the business. This experience is designed to develop well-rounded Procurement Professionals through comprehensive, hands-on, and strategically integrated opportunities.

As a Procurement intern, you will work within one of our Procurement groups, including but not limited to: Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Procurement Project Management and Sustainable Sourcing on both the Direct and Indirect sides of Procurement.
Location:
Roles are based in a corporate office location in Solon, OH or Arlington, VA. We require employees to be in the office at least three days a week - Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and reside within a commutable distance to Solon, OH or Arlington, VA.

Education Requirements:
  • Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Operations Management or other related field is required
  • Degree completed by June 2025
  • Preferred Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

Experience Requirements:
  • Preferred Procurement or related internship/co-op experience

Additional Requirements:
  • Available to start the program beginning June 2024
  • Interested in working on a variety of business projects requiring research, cost analyses, and engagement of stakeholders
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, persuasive abilities, leadership capabilities and strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite- Word and Excel preferred
