This is more about up-selling and making sure companies are renewing their services. These are already customers. You will be responsible for engaging with them via email. No cold calling!Job BriefThe Software Sales Subscription & Renewals Specialist will be responsible for renewing subscription licenses and support upsell across enterprise businesses. The Renewal Specialist should possess the sales expertise required to successfully conduct all phases of the renewal cycle, be comfortable engaging with customers, and continuously find ways to maximize the value this company provides to its customers.The Renewal Specialist must demonstrate all the behaviors associated with our high-performance sales culture, specifically managing a high-volume pipeline of renewal opportunities through the appropriate fulfillment channels, committing to and delivering results against monthly and quarterly forecast targets.Understanding the portfolio of products as well as the end-to-end sales process, is critical to this position’s success.The Renewal Specialist works independently for most of his/her activities but may need to work under the guidance of a team leader or more experienced sales specialist in certain circumstances. He/She will be required to provide timely forecast and risk analysis to either his/her direct manager or anothermember of the management team according to business specific requirements.The Impact You’ll Make• Maximize renewal revenue opportunities to achieve the Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly Revenue targets• Focus on building competency around the renewal, with a strong drive towards customer relationships, processes optimizations and identifying areas to achieve year over year growth• Successfully close each months renewals for the designated customers, including regular reconciliation of customer entitlements per renewal and accurately reflecting expected forecasting revenue amounts• Work with the business’s Sales Reps and external Business Partners to ensure sales progression and timely renewal closure• Identify issues and implement solutions/processes to drive the successful closure of the renewal• Communicate with internal stakeholders and Engineering to ensure our products and services meet customer expectations• When required, facilitate the setup of new customers on company products• Support existing key customer relationships, support technical issues as well as advocate product advancements on an ongoing basis• While this role supports the Renewals business, there will be opportunities to expand the knowledge base into emerging investment areas• Comply with all policies and procedures• Collaborate with Technical Sales Engineering and external customers to address API questions and technical integrations• Maintain strong technical and consultative relationships with strategic customersWhat You’ve Accomplished• A minimum of 3 years in a software sales and support role; experience within Media, Aviation, or Weather Data a plus• Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients and effectively communicating with other members of the sales team• Ability to understand customer goals and challenges, map solutions to customer needs• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to rapidly learn new technologies and take advantage of emerging technologies; experience with Salesforce CPQ required.• Excellent organizational skills• Attuned problem solving skills to interpret the customer’s needs and assist in solution design and/or issue resolution• Exemplary time management; a self-starter
