Principal Concept Artist

2K Games is seeking a Principal Concept Artist to lead the visual direction for their projects in Vancouver, BC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the creative field, particularly in games, film, or animation.

Skills

Strong drawing and painting abilities.
Proficiency in 3D software.
Knowledge of Unreal Engine.

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with artists and key collaborators to conceptualize designs.
Conceptualize designs that represent the game design intent.
Draw to style and in multiple views emphasizing environment and graphic design.
Develop environment designs balancing game design and narrative.
Prioritize and complete conceptual art output.
Produce visual assets for all stages of development.
Establish and craft style guides.
Mentor fellow artists.

Education

Educational background in design or art.
