Job Description:
We offer scholarships in all of our U.S. offices for 2L students who belong to historically underrepresented groups in the legal profession or who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our Scholars will spend a minimum of 8 weeks of their summer following their 2L year working as a Fenwick summer associate. At the end of the summer, each Scholar will be eligible for an offer to join the firm after graduating from law school, contingent upon law school grades and performance feedback. In addition to our regular, full-time summer associate salary, our 2L Scholars will also have the opportunity to receive up to $50,000 (gross) in scholarship funds. We strongly encourage candidates with a particular interest in patent litigation to apply.
Please submit a cover letter, current resume, undergraduate transcript and law school transcript. Applicants must also submit a personal statement of no more than 500 words, illustrating the core elements of their background, life experiences, values, character, and worldview. Cover letters should state practice group and office preference. Applicants will be evaluated holistically on the merits of their application materials and interviews. We will evaluate applications that are received between June 1, 2023 and June 30, 2023.
