3D Lab Tech

Lionbridge is seeking a strong Full-time Lab Technician for our Day shift 3D team in Corvallis, OR. Primarily our work is research and development of new and evolving 3D processes. MJF 3D printers use an inkjet array that first deposits fusing, detailing, and coloring agents, and during another pass, exposes the powder bed to infrared energy which fuses the part’s layers together.

**What you will do

Operate 3D printing equipment and support equipment in a lab setting.
Perform periodic preventive maintenance, keep equipment clean and serviceable, and keep work area clean.
Record and maintain a historically documented log of failures, repairs and modifications performed on equipment sets.
Follow all SSME safety requirements for design development, building, upgrading and maintaining all equipment sets.
Assist with training on equipment sets to include documentation, theory of operation, daily maintenance, operation and simple troubleshooting.
Participate in the development, creation and coordination of design criteria media, visualizations and documentation as required through renderings, animations, elevations, sections and isometric views.

To be successful you will have

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint, as well as MS Word, MS Access and MS Outlook/Exchange.
The ability to remain team-oriented, enthusiastic, creative, well organized, self-motivated and able to easily determine the critical components of the design to meet the problem at hand.
Want to grow your understanding of an R&D and/or production environment.
Curiosity of learning about cutting edge 3D technology.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and wear a PAPR respirator when completing some assigned tasks.
