POSITION SUMMARY:
Maintains cycle counts, reports issues to supervisor and/or manager. Ensures product and/or materials are properly received, stored, retrieved and shipped according to established policies and procedures. Actively support the implementation of the Nestle Quality Management System (QMS), Food Safety Management System (FSMS), Safety Management System (SMS), and Environmental Management System (EMS) in the manufacturing facility. Always demonstrate safe, quality, and environment behaviors in the workplace. Able to operate/function in an extremely cold environment.
OPERATIONAL TASKS:
- Conducts and assists in inventory (Cycle) counts.
- Receive product accurately.
- Pick orders.
- Load outbound trailers.
- Maintains powered industrial trucks as required.
- Completes other projects as assigned.
- Maintain sanitation schedule as assigned.
- Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or G.E.D is preferred but not required
- 1-2 year related experience and/or training
EXPERIENCE:
- Candidate must be willing to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. Flexibility in days of work week required.
SKILLS:
Math: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions
Reading & Writing: Ability to read technical written material and to communicate via written material
Computer Literacy: Knowledge of navigation and inputting.
