Chief Client Experience Officer
5W Public Relations, an award-winning integrated PR firm, is seeking a Chief Client Experience Officer with extensive and proven experience leading agency growth, developing business, client relationships, leading executive teams and more.
To thrive as a CXO, you must be an inspiring leader, experienced in guiding cross-functional teams, driving growth and collaboration across the agency. The ideal candidate will be mission and impact-driven with an acute business mindset who can see the big picture and set and achieve ambitious growth goals.
The CXO is responsible for driving 5W’s overall vision, client strategy and operations. The CXO will ensure client program excellence and innovation, continued revenue and partnership growth, operational efficiency, and financial stability.
The CXO will refine client experiences across all US based practice areas within the agency, driving value, leveraging external relationships while leading internal teams to achieve client objectives.
Here's what you'll be doing:- Reporting to the Global CEO, the CXO will lead and inspire a diverse and dedicated team across all US based practices, focusing on operational excellence and client experiences
- Collaborate with a highly experienced executive team including but not limited to, the Chief Financial Officer, Chief People Officer, Operations and Marketing
- Communicate agency goals, client strategy and plans with clarity and enthusiasm, building energy and consensus around the organization’s direction
- Develop and execute client marketing transformation initiatives to achieve business goals
- Drive organic growth initiatives and help leverage, nurture and expand the depth of existing client relationships
- Supervise, and collaborate with the executive leadership team, learning from each leader’s expertise and supporting their continued professional development
- Employ entrepreneurial sensibilities in identifying and pursuing opportunities for new agency initiatives that advance the company’s mission and generate sustainable financial success
- Act as chief ambassador and thought leader for 5W through media appearances, speaking engagements, and agency-sponsored events
Here's what you have:- At least 20 years of strategy and client management experience, with 5+ in an executive level position, such as C-level, General Manager, or Senior Vice President
- Experience must be within the Public Relations or Communications industry
- Strong background in operations management, change management, and a successful track record in mentoring other leaders in these areas
- Experience implementing and leading client strategy in a complex environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills
- Expert knowledge of budgeting, sales, business development and strategic planning
- Knowledge of the PR/Communications, Digital and Media landscape, including the agency’s partners, competitors, other relevant players
- The CXO will be a collaborative, approachable, and empathetic manager who actively incorporates the skills and perspectives of staff and stakeholders
