Data Architect (GCP), Contract-to-Hire
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect for a 3 month contract-to-hire opportunity focusing on Google Cloud data architecture.
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of GCP data services
- Expertise in data modeling techniques
- Hands-on experience with Spark and Hadoop
- Proven ability in cloud architectures
- Understanding of data quality and security
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-based data architectures on GCP
- Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Design and implement solutions for processing large datasets
- Establish and enforce data governance policies
- Build and optimize data pipelines for efficient data ingestion
- Monitor and tune data systems for performance
- Collaborate with data engineers and other stakeholders
- Stay current with technologies in data architecture
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data or related
