A&R Admin needed for a contract opportunity with our Entertainment client located in New York City.

Schedule: 4 Days on site/1 Day remote
Hourly pay rate: $35

A&R Admin
Overview

• This position will work closely with A&R, Business & Legal Affairs, Finance, Royalties, and Joint Venture Accounting to administer recording budgets, and prepare various ad hoc management reports. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the recording process from start to finish including overseeing recording budgets and release deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handles the “day-to-day” administration of artist recording projects, including creation of recording budgets, issuance of purchase orders, payment of invoices, producer/mixer declarations, remix agreements, AFM and SAG-AFTRA union filings, etc.
• Interact with artist attorneys and managers about contractual issues, producer agreements, side artist agreements, and sample agreements.
• Work with the Royalty and Joint Venture Audit departments on audit claims
• Assist with the preparation of various senior management reports.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative and financial skills required.
• Knowledge of audio files (multitracks, stems, mix passes) and recording systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• 4-5 years’ experience
