The Audit and Compliance Auditor will perform comprehensive audits to ensure compliance with US and foreign regulatory requirements. This role focuses on quality-related systems across AbbVie plants, affiliates, quality service areas, and suppliers. Joining AbbVie means being part of a mission that positively impacts lives around the world.Skills• Bilingual in Spanish and English• Strong interpersonal and communication skills• Proficient understanding of quality assurance audit processes• Ability to influence stakeholders across various functions• Organizational and administrative skills with sound judgmentResponsibilities• Assess compliance of systems, facilities, and procedures per applicable regulations• Provide audit feedback and review corrective actions for effectiveness• Participate in strategic initiatives aimed at improving compliance• Collaborate with R&D QA for joint audits• Communicate and coordinate audit activities with stakeholders• Ensure audits are conducted according to the annual schedule• Prevent product launch delays due to supplier audit issuesQualifications• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or scientific area (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Microbiology, or Engineering) or equivalent industry experience (minimum 4 years)• 6+ years of total relevant experience, including 4+ years in Quality Assurance and 2+ years in compliance/auditing• ASQ certification is desired• Strong technical background with knowledge of GMP regulationsEducation Requirements• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant fieldEducation Requirements Credential Category• Technical or Scientific area (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Microbiology, or Engineering)Experience Requirements• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance or compliance/auditing• Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, or related industryWhy work in North Chicago, ILNorth Chicago is an exciting location that combines a strong community with access to cutting-edge healthcare and pharmaceutical innovation.
