Job Description

The Marketing Manager for US Gastroenterology will be responsible for execution of direct promotion strategy across a range of Healthcare Professional (HCP) marketing materials and operational programs for a US Gastroenterology brand team. As a prominent member of the US Gastroenterology Marketing team, the individual in this position must demonstrate strong competency in HCP marketing execution fundamentals, high strategic acumen, an innovative mentality, and the ability to generate support for their ideas.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement field-facing assets in a variety of channels to support direct HCP promotion based on customer and market insights
  • Work with colleagues, internal cross functional teams (Legal, Regulatory, Medical) and external (Ad Agency, Digital and Media Agency) to ensure tactical integration
  •  Responsible for the development and implementation of core sales messages and field communications
  • Responsible for the collection and strategic integration of field insights
  • Maintain awareness of relevant market dynamics and trends, and the application to tactical planning and execution
  • Contribute to the development of the HCP tactical plan
  • Effectively track and manage related promo budgets
  • Consistently execute multiple marketing projects in a timely manner

Qualifications

  • BA/BS required
  • Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical industry, or related experience required
  • At least 2 years of HCP marketing experience with track record of tactic delivery and evidence of marketing competencies
  • Track record of effective execution and pull through, cross functional leadership, and positive results
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to make effective presentations to internal and external customers, sales teams, and senior management
  • Ability to work across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills
  • Strong planning and organization skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience with data analysis
