Job Description
A Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Associate will work in the 24/7/365 GSOC and is responsible for monitoring global events, travel related issues, and various security topics which could potentially impact the business. This person will send notifications to appropriate personnel and/or company travelers in order to ensure minimal business disruption in accordance with corporate crisis management directives. This person will operate a global CCTV network, provide access control, process store operations requests, and perform intake specialist functions for all initial and follow-up confidential reporting. This person will also provide communication and documentation support for the corporate campus security team and help maintain a safe environment for all company associates, vendors and guests.
This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio. The 2nd shift runs from 2:00pm to 10:00pm.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Act as the initial point of contact to aid all Abercrombie and Fitch associates, travelers, expatriates, and others contacting the Global Operations Center
- Perform security and emergency dispatch functions for the corporate campus and surrounding distribution centers
- Monitor global events in real-time using various sources and send detailed information to travelers or business partners as needed
- Collect and analyze data from a variety of internal and external sources, including primary source intelligence, and financial and business product data analytics
- Prioritizing, validating, analyzing, and correlating information to identify existing and emerging threats to employees, facilities, and operational continuity
- Support the global protective intelligence program as it is developed enterprise-wide
- Grow and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop security risk-mitigating strategies
- Align with policies and procedures to support the security program and culture of Abercrombie and Fitch
- Support the development and delivery of security awareness activities
What Do You Need To Bring?
- 3+ years experience in a related field (Security/Security Solutions, Intelligence Analysis, Military, Law Enforcement, Corrections, Risk Management, Business Continuity, IT, etc.) or a combination of professional experience and education
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to set priorities in a high-paced environment, multi-task, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment while handling incidents
- Dark/deep web; brand protection, OSINT, and competitive intelligence gathering experience
- Strong technical competence with command center software, particularly in video management, access control, and case development
- Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams); SharePoint; Microsoft Outlook; Web-based communications tools; and internet-based research
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Assist with special projects that support Global Security and business initiatives
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity
- Advanced experience in physical security applications such as access control, camera surveillance intrusion detection (CCTV), protective intelligence, and visitor management
- Two years of work experience in an Analyst role in a Security Operations Center (SOC), Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) or a Network Operations Center (NOC), Homeland Security analyst, Emergency Operations Center, Military Intelligence, Business Analysis and/or equivalent experience
- CPR, EMT, First Aid Training and/or Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree focused on Homeland Security, Emergency Operations, Military Intelligence, Business Analysis, or International Studies
