We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to become a valued member of our dynamic team. The primary goal of this position is to develop and enhance our Business Intelligence toolkit, utilizing Tableau BI and Snowflake, to establish operational accountability and intelligence that aligns with the organization's growth strategy. As an essential member of the team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to grasp their data requirements and utilize our BI toolkit to generate actionable business insights. Your expertise in navigating data intricacies and bridging technical and business domains will play a pivotal role in documenting business needs and crafting efficient data models. Furthermore, you will have a significant role in maintaining and advancing our Tableau visualization tool. Your contributions will play a crucial part in delivering formal BI solutions to the business as we strive to provide 'data-as-a-product' to our stakeholders.

• Data analysis: Merge data from multiple sources, grasp the nuances of the business domain, and analyze extensive and complex datasets to uncover insights and patterns.
• Data visualization: Translate insights and discoveries into visually appealing data presentations, dashboards, and reports suitable for effective communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Data reporting: Generate both ad hoc and standardized datasets or reports for end-users using a variety of system tools, databases, or data warehouse queries and scripts.
• Stakeholder collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to understand key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting needs, and projects aimed at improving data-driven decision-making.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, adept problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in troubleshooting complex issues.
• Minimum of five years of practical experience in data engineering positions, ideally within the fintech sector.
• At least 3 years of experience with modern visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, or Qlik.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and simplify complex technical jargon into easy-to-understand business language.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and modeling concepts, familiarity with Github or similar tools for code management.
• Self-starter, quick learner, able to juggle multiple priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to analyze how data is used for decision-making, examine anomalies and patterns, and map data structures from source/operational systems to curated and author medium complexity ETL processes.
