In this role, you will harness your technical expertise to support clients in meeting their reporting requirements while curating valuable insights through our business intelligence products. You will become proficient in our loan review, business intelligence, and our core products, enabling you to assist clients in creating customized reports, and maintaining and improving our report catalog. Collaborating closely with the Product Team, you'll enhance the performance and usability of our reporting solution. What You'll Do:
- Understand Loan Review end-to-end process for financial institutions.
- Inventory customer’s reporting requirements.
- Develop and Maintain reports using DevExpress Reports Suite (or equivalent).
- Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions as required for each report.
- Repair and update existing reports, as needed.
- Review and provide accurate time-estimates for custom report requests.
- Continuously document and effectively communicate progress, issues, and resolutions.
- Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.
- Develop and maintain a library of available reports for client use
- As an Analyst, you will be the primary escalation path for clients needing assistance with reports
- Work with clients and internal stakeholders to identify areas of need for CFIs and solve problems with data analysis.
- As your skills develop, take more responsibility for the architecture and maintenance of our reporting database and solution
- Develop subject-matter expertise in our lending, credit, financial crimes, and portfolio risk management solutions
- Provide excellent customer service through technical support and client follow-up as an Analyst, you should expect a dynamic environment with clear, specific tasks and goals in support of our client-facing projects and internal research and development
- A quantitative, inquiring mindset with exemplary written communication skills are critical, as are the willingness and ability to learn new technical skills
- Manipulate, analyze, and interpret complex data sets, draw business relevant conclusions, and present them successfully in useful business reports
- Engage and participate in regular internal and external project meetings to fully understand data content
- Partner with and advise internal team members on data-collection needs, trends, and focus areas
- Identify areas for innovation in monitoring, discover issues and collection approaches to improve analytic efficiencies to deliver better value to customers
- Gather, understand, and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques
What You'll Need:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent years of experience.
- 1+ years’ experience analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing reporting solutions.
- Experience writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Ability to communicate effectively in and across teams; must possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Conveying technical concepts to non-technical users comes with the territory.
- Successful applicants have exposure to financial principles and should be comfortable interpreting the results of various mathematical models
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- As you grow and demonstrate expertise as well as the ability to lead project workstreams and communicate effectively directly with clients, there will be opportunities for promotion to the Consultant role
- Ability to accomplish tasks on time and a track record of results-oriented achievements
- Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies both independently and with training.
- Strong emphasis on robust documentation of all work completed
Preferences:
- DevExpress Web Reporting Tool experience preferred, but not required.
- Financial/Accounting experience is a plus.
