Job Description
The Help Desk Support Technician supports the University Monarch Workflow Manager (MWM) — the platform that administers most institutional processes involving faculty (tenure conferral, promotions, evaluations, etc.). The positions also support the Faculty Activity System (FAS) and Faculty Expertise & Research Information System (VIVO) — critical to University accountability reporting regarding faculty instructional productivity, cost efficiency, and research and service components.

Some knowledge using and applying database applications and software, database reporting software. Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple activities in a deadline-oriented environment; highly organized, flexible and rigorous attention to detail. Ability to work effectively with multiple internal and external customers. Ability to use logic to calculate data. Ability to work with data of varying levels of quality and validity.

Level and type of experience
Some experience providing data support and analysis to a variety of internal and external audiences. Some experience working in large databases and generating reports. Some experience working with data, and Microsoft desktop applications (Excel, MS Access, Word, PowerPoint).

Some experience working in an Ellucian Banner environment. Some experience working with Digital Measures Activity Insight Faculty Activity System configuration.
