Academy Interview Process
You’re probably not used to interviewing with a staffing or recruiting firm. We get it, we are a bit different. Just know that we are doing it with your best interest in mind. That means you are gonna get a fair, honest, and thoughtful review of your candidacy with clear and direct feedback. We want to help you look like a star to our clients because the better talent we can share, the better company we can build. So if you’re considering working with Academy, we won’t make it harder by forcing you to read our minds or guess what we value. Instead, we’ll tell you exactly what we look for – and why it matters to us. We’ll work closely to support you throughout the interview process, which we’ve outlined below:
Portfolio Review & Phone Screen
If your portfolio and work experience shows that your skills and experience have synergy with the role qualifications and responsibilities, then we will schedule an initial phone screen to learn more about you, discuss your availability, experience, and what you’re looking for in your next role.
Portfolio Interview
If everything aligns on the Phone Screen, we schedule a second interview, our Portfolio Interview. On this call, we will ask you to walk through one of your case studies in order to evaluate your work, strategy, and execution.
Client Interview
The next step would be to present our assessment of the talents candidacy to our clients. Should they decide to move forward, we will schedule interviews with the candidate and the hiring team to review their work, strategy, and execution.
