Senior Accountant- ACCEL Schools
ACCEL Schools, a network of high-performing public charter schools, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support various accounting tasks, financial statements, and process improvements.
Skills
- 5-7 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ERP systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Perform general ledger tasks including monthly close and journal entries
- Lead revenue and deferred revenue reconciliations and analysis
- Prepare financial statements and variance analyses
- Identify efficiencies in processes and propose solutions
- Support Accounting projects and new acquisitions
- Supervise junior staff and ensure accuracy in financial statements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
