Virtual Intervention Specialist
Gateway Online Academy of Ohio seeks teachers to create a rigorous and nurturing online learning environment focused on student learning and development.
Skills
- Current Ohio teaching license
- Knowledge of State and Common Core Standards
- Excellent communication skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
- Establish and enforce rules of behavior for students
- Prepare lessons, units and projects
- Adapt teaching methods to meet student needs
- Encourage exploration of learning opportunities
- Create and grade assessments
- Work one-on-one with students needing extra help
- Track and evaluate student progress
- Lead parent-teacher meetings
- Administer tests to evaluate students’ progress
Education
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
