• Experience with ICD-503, JSIG, RMF, NIST, FIPS, CNSSI 1253, Nessus, A&A
• Knowledge of reviewing security concepts of operations, systems security plans, security control assessments
• Experience with ACAS/Nessus, SIEM/Splunk, incident handling procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to engage with users in a professional manner and present technical concepts plainly

Responsibilities

• Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and procedures
• Conduct periodic reviews of Information Systems to ensure compliance with security authorization package
• Coordinate with systems administrators to perform system scans for A&A and continuous monitoring
• Perform compliance audits, incident handling, and lead or assist investigations into security anomalies
• Perform review of audit logs for IT systems to identify anomalies, hacking, or insider threats

Education

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience on Government projects
• IAT 8570 Compliant certification or willingness to obtain one within 90 days
