The DBA administers development/test databases. The DBA is primarily responsible for performing many related database functions across one or more teams. This may include designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. The DBA is able to install database management systems (DBMS); related software tools and has a working knowledge of operating systems. The DBA is also able to submit input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.This role will require 2-3 days per week at the local office. The preferred hiring locations for this role are Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; and Tampa, FL. Qualified applicants in other targeted locations may be considered.Here’s what you need:• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)• A minimum of 3 or more years of SQL Server DBA experience in a production environment• A minimum of 2 or more years of SQL programming and performance tuning• A minimum of 2 or more years of Backup/Recovery• A minimum of 2 or more years shell scripting (Windows)Bonus Points if:• Relevant DB certifications• Cloud experience (AWS, Oracle, Azure, Google)• Experience with other DB platforms including open source and no-SQL DB (Oracle, SQL, DB2, Sybase, my SQL, Postgres, MongoDB, etc.)• Willingness to undergo future background check/clearance processes if neededPay Transparency Info for Job PostingsCompensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
