Notion is an in person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for two Anchor Days (Mondays & Thursdays) and requests that employees spend the majority of their week in the office (including a third day).


About The Role:


Notion has a very successful "land and expand" business model. Our customers start using Notion for free, and upgrade over time as they expand their teams and embrace increasingly sophisticated use cases. Often, our Notion users and champions are different than the person who has enterprise purchasing authority.


The Demand Gen team serves as a dot-connecter across sales, marketing and operation teams to identify, engage, and convert decision makers at our target mid market and enterprise companies.


As the Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Lead, you will own and execute ABM strategy, campaign creation, pipeline metrics, and more. This is a highly strategic role focused on driving results that contribute meaningfully to Notion's bottom line.


Skills You'll Need to Bring:


  • 5+ years of experience in Account-Based Marketing
  • Have strong problem-solving skills to strategize creative ways to get in front of top accounts
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, prioritize and get things done
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and defining new programs/processes when we’re doing something for the first time
  • You have a track record of hitting aggressive growth goals leveraging ABM channels (paid advertising, content syndication, direct mail, etc), expert in end-to-end campaign development, execution, and measurement
  • Have a solid understanding of and experience with current marketing tools, including CRM (Salesforce), Marketing Automation (Marketo), and ABM (Metadata)
  • Customer-centric and driven by insights. You understand the customer journey, each influencer within the decision making process, and leverage customer insights to design your campaigns.
  • Excellent communication skills and great at building cross functional relationships. You've worked closely with data, sales, content and operations partners, and comfortable presenting in executive-level settings


What You'll Achieve:


  • Deeply understand the Notion product, user and buyer journey and partner with the Head of Demand Gen on strategy that is innovative and appropriate for Notion's funnel and market.
  • Own strategy, execution, and the results of your programs, including 1:many, 1:few and 1:1 ABM campaigns and programs that drive prospect engagement of a set list of target accounts—advancing them through the sales funnel
  • Build ABM campaigns on ABM platforms (Metadata, LinkedIn and Marketo) to target top-of-funnel customers and target marquee accounts through their buying journey
  • Partner closely with Sales and broader Marketing team to build customized marketing plans and objectives for top accounts and craft hyper-relevant, tailored programs that nurture those accounts from prospecting to close to expansion
  • Track key performance indicators such as leads generated, pipeline contribution, program performance metrics, and revenue influenced, and report on your programs with actionable insights
  • Partner with our Operation and BizTech teams to manage and better utilize our go-to-market systems (Marketo, Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo)
  • You’ll have the opportunity to take on a variety of projects that support upmarket pipeline, ranging from events, digital campaigns, direct mail, and more

Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco or New York City, the estimated base salary range for this role is $165,000 - $185,000 per year.
