POSITION SUMMARY:
The Account Director, Payor Access – Behavioral Health is focused on maximizing access and profitability for Indivior Behavior Health products (Perseris) while supporting a strong Indivior presence with designated managed care accounts, behavioral health organizations and State Medicaid programs. This position will design and implement business plans, State legislative strategies, Lobbying support activities, contracting strategies, and pull-through initiatives for the attainment of sales and other corporate goals. This position is field-based.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

Close collaboration with the Payor Access Team to obtain and improve formulary access for Perseris (as well as any other Behavioral Health products)

Maximize Medicaid FFS, Managed Medicaid, Medicare Part D, and Commercial pull-through opportunities with the Behavioral Health Sales Team

Develop and support formulary access strategies to gain formulary positioning for Perseris (as well as any other Behavioral Health products) with accounts consistent with brand and contract strategy

Develop Lobbying strategies and work with Government Affairs to address legislation impacting access for Perseris (as well as any other Behavioral Health products)

Assist the President – Behavioral Health and the Directors of National Accounts in the coordination, creation, and implementation of strategic plans for designated affiliates of national accounts

Analyze marketplace and plan data, anticipate future trends, and prepare contingency plans that capitalize on sales potential and best ROI

Leverage clinical information and data to ensure and facilitate proper product placement and position in continuum of care algorithms

Independently conduct data analysis including, but not limited to market share assessment, identification of product/competitive product trends, and customer’s financials

Create and manages strategic business plans that reflects strong account knowledge and produces results such as enhanced access

Coordinate with appropriate Payor Access personnel to design and implement strategic account management planning for customers that reflects customers’ and Indivior’s interests and goals.

Actively engage with cross-functional team members from Business Analytics, Contract Administration, Medical, Finance, Marketing, Sales Leadership and the Market Access Leadership Team

Manages budgets within guidelines
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

BS/BA degree from a four-year accredited university or college; Business/Finance degree desired

Minimum 5 years in of demonstrated experience and proven success in biotech/pharmaceutical industry, experience within managed care markets preferred

Excellent market, and customer knowledge of all types of business books including HMO, MBHO, PBM, Managed Medicaid, and Medicare D

Minimum of 1-year experience in Managed Care account management preferred covering multi state geography

Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills and sales tools and software

Experience in corporate-office roles (i.e. Training, Sales Operations, and Marketing) or sales leadership preferred
-
Demonstrates extensive understanding of payer marketplace and customer business, i.e. managed care industry, benefit design, segment knowledge, and state/federal policies that impact any of the above-mentioned areas

Proactively identifies obstacles that are not obvious to others and works to overcome them

Must be able to travel > 50%
