The Sales Account Executive plays a vital role in driving the company's sales of technical hardware solutions, specifically interactive flat panels, to large enterprise customers. This position entails developing sales strategies within the assigned territory (ideally in the western part of the US) or for specific customers or customer groups. The primary objectives include territory planning, cultivating and closing a robust pipeline of opportunities, managing customer relationships, and ensuring that customers are well-informed about the value and advantages of Promethean's offerings, ultimately motivating them to purchase or promote our solutions.

Create and implement a comprehensive territory management plan, focusing on generating a strong pipeline of opportunities

Act as the main point of contact for Promethean, fostering and nurturing relationships with enterprise customers
- Cultivate and nurture sales prospects and new opportunities with enterprise customers in the territory, aiming to increase revenue, margin, and market share
- Effectively communicate Promethean's value proposition and showcase the benefits of our solutions, whether in face-to-face or remote interactions
- Collaborate with the Marketing department to execute revenue-driving initiatives within your assigned territory
- Foster and maintain enduring customer relationships to ensure long-term success
- Forecast and track key account metrics, including pipeline management, pricing actions, demonstration activity, marketing activity, sales reporting, and competitive activity

A degree is preferred, although not essential
- 3+ years of sales experience navigating complex sales cycles and negotiating contracts with multiple executive stakeholders

Experience in presenting to and engaging with senior level stakeholders

Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills

Ability to understand complex business needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs

Discipline to work a plan in the face of challenge without instant gratification

Someone who is bold in their actions and never satisfied with complacency

Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to creatively solve problems and find mutually beneficial solutions

Strong presentation skills to effectively convey the value of Promethean's solutions
- Familiarity with salesforce.com CRM system
Base Range: $83,000 - $101,000 + Commission Eligible
