Account Executive

We develop narratives that empower an organization to get its message across in a meaningful and impactful way.
We have an opportunity for an Assistant Account Executive to support some of our team’s most significant communications campaigns and corporate reputation work. You’ll be an integral part of teams helping some of the world’s largest companies build credible and impactful communications programs that engage key stakeholders.

More About What You’ll Do:

    • Participate in brainstorms
    • Read and identify media clips from clipping services and online resources
    • Monitor client and competition coverage
    • Manage and update media lists
    • Assist with compilation of media coverage reports
    • Draft and pitch media targets, developing briefing materials, including messaging and reporter background
    • Conduct and compile industry research
    • Write, edit and proofread materials including statements, Q&As, stakeholder communications, messaging and client correspondence
    • Contribute to creation of communications and plans that meet client objectives ahead of corporate milestones, leadership transition, internal change management programs and other key moments
    • Assist with conference engagement, including developing conference trackers, pitching and placing spokespeople at events, spokesperson prep, staffing events, identifying target media, creating bespoke client events, and supporting clients at major national and global events.
    • Assist with new business, including compiling company research, developing competitive landscape analyses, and contributing to strategy development
    • Develop briefing materials and messaging to support media interviews

Basic Qualifications:

    • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
    • This is an entry-level account position

Preferred Qualifications:

    • An assistant account executive will possess good interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to work effectively with a variety of account service staff within a specific set of accounts
    • Strong work ethic and dedication to consistently provide quality work to their team and clients
    • Prior internship experience preferred
    • Positive, collaborative attitude and entrepreneurial mindset
    • Strong organizational, scheduling, and time/project management skills; possess the ability to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously
    • Superior verbal communication skills
    • Must demonstrate strong writing abilities and analytical skills
    • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
$42,000 - $62,000 a year
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
