Opportunity Summary:

Upland Software has an immediate opportunity for an experienced SaaS Account Executive with a focus on selling sales effectiveness or CRM type solutions to organizations. This key player will drive revenue from “New logo” and “Expansion” accounts creating consistent pipeline and growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and close a quarterly pipeline of cross-sell and new logo deals. This includes outbound calling, qualifying, and managing the opportunity from creation to close
  • Provide transparency and visibility into an accurate well defined pipeline
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Work closely with prospective customers to understand their business objectives and present the most appropriate solution to meet their needs
  • Map the organizational structure of prospects and customers, allowing for strategic growth over time within the account
  • Manage complex buying cycles and guide the prospect through the sales process
  • Bring a strong understanding of business practices, industry trends, and competitors to each sale
  • Sell and communicate with passion and energy both externally and internally
  • Effectively create and articulate ROI in the negotiation process to secure the most value

Requirements:

  • 5 + years of direct sales experience with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding assigned individual quota.
  • High degree of self-motivation and autonomy
  • Intellectual curiosity that drives creative thinking, collaboration, and problem solving
  • Experience selling deals valued at $50,000 or more in annual recurring revenue.
