LexisNexis® Risk Solutions provides customers with solutions and decision tools that combine public and industry specific content with advanced technology and analytics to assist them in evaluating and predicting risk and enhancing operational efficiency. We use the power of data and advanced analytics to help our customers make better, timelier decisions.
This is a hybrid working based account management and sales position that exists to acquire and grow revenue in new sources through sales of LexisNexis Risk Management products and solutions. This individual is responsible for growing revenue through the sale of LexisNexis Risk Solutions products to current and new customers. This position will focus on growing small accounts and meeting or exceeding revenue objectives by expanding the use of LexisNexis solutions.
Responsibilities:
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills are critical, as this is a virtual sales role.
  • Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships at all levels, and act as liaison between sales support and our customers in order to provide superior service and solutions.
  • Responsible for the evaluation of existing relationships, grow and expand relationships, create a territory plan and successfully execute against that strategy.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue objectives.
  • Develop clear and thorough sales plans for each of the assigned accounts detailing all relevant information about an account, so sales efforts can be successfully executed.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of Insurance products and solutions to effectively present them to customers and articulate the value they can expect from using them.
  • Call existing customers to secure appointments, gather information on their needs, position and demonstrate the value of our products to address their business issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service by effectively managing customer objections, setting realistic expectations, successfully negotiate pricing and contracts and close sales.
  • Formulate a professional development plan with your manager that focuses on internal/external educational programs so you can leverage your enhanced knowledge within your assigned territory.
Experience Desired:
  • Strong sales, relationship development and customer services skills.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, time management and forecasting skills.
  • Strong ability to promptly manage and respond to customer contacts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
