About This Job:

The Lawn & Garden Account Manager Philippines will be responsible for delivering sales and profitability objectives of L&G Business in Philippines and other duties as the following:

  • Formulate & implement sales strategies to achieve growth objectives with alignment to regional aspirations & strategies
  • Prepare launch plans for new products ensuring effective pre and post launch activities to maximize growth.
  • Evaluate new opportunities, review channel/KAM strategy to maximize effectiveness
  • Prepare and communicate technical-commercial information to ensure efficient knowledge transfer to distributors and customers
  • Manage and update sales forecast for L&G Business in Philippines

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

Business Development

  • Formulate sales growth and market development strategies
  • To ensure growth project deliverables are achieved on schedule
  • Ensure that the right products are developed and registered to support business growth
  • Review, revamp/expand (if necessary) distribution networks
  • Demand creation planning & execution to ensure there is adequate ‘pull strategy’ via activities such as technical advisory services, technical information, grower incentives….etc.
  • Identify new market opportunities (including new active ingredient ’s, formulations and/or use of application technology)

Communication Liaison

  • Prepare and communication with Region with monthly business review (MBR)
  • Liaise with and proactively influence key stakeholders (internal & external) with relevant technical, supply & commercial information
  • Build strong relationships with key PCOs, Ornamental growers, stakeholders and channel partners to facilitate the positioning of Syngenta products as the products of choice based on a strong technical position & confidence in use
  • Liaise with APAC business teams to ensure timely execution of action plans, knowledge transfer and sharing of best practices. Identify knowledge gaps and develop relevant technical and commercial training to support channel.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Entomology or any science related course 2-5 years of working experience in pest management industry selling environmental science products.
  • Good working knowledge of technical aspects of one or more of the following – Professional Pest Management, Farm Pest, Home Pest, Vector Control, Turf, and Stored Pest Management.
  • Preferably with good sales and marketing background.
  • Good command of English (verbal and writing)

  • Travel requirement: 80%
  • Work location: Alabang, Philippines
