We’re looking for an Account Manager supporting personal care, hybrid role requiring 2 days in our Princeton, NJ office. Our Account manager will lead and coordinate projects with internal partners and with the client to establish dsm-firmenich as key partner to obtain briefs for profitable business and drive projects towards the best possible solution for both the client and dsm-firmenich.

Your key responsibilities
- Define account objectives, develop commercial strategy, implement through account plan.
- Obtain clear and complete briefing from clients, translate their needs into Firmenich projects; brief creation and development teams and drive projects towards the best possible solution and outcome.
- Lead/coordinate projects with internal partners and with clients (including fragrance submissions), as well as manage products life cycle, demand planning, customer care and supply chain.
- Develop successful working relationships with (new and existing) key contacts and stakeholders; monitor client satisfaction and initiate corrective action where needed while identifying business opportunities, decision factors and success criteria.
- Anticipate clients’ needs and lead proactive projects to generate new business opportunities.
- Build the account sales budget annually, on-going monitor sales and profitability versus objectives.

You bring
- Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years’ experience in commercial sales role
- Ability to work effectively communicate, present and influence credibly with clients and with team members.
- Ability to develop strategic plans, define, prioritize, and implement action plans according to business opportunities and success factors.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment, successfully develop client relationship to position Firmenich as a key business partner.
- Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to clients and to demonstrate Firmenich competitiveness, strong sales, critical thinking and negotiation skills.
- Team player, with a positive approach when interacting with clients and colleagues; seen as a strong partner by the development teams involved in clients’ projects.
- Must be willing to travel when necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
