Accounting Analyst

Provides a variety of financial preparation services to the organization, including record keeping, reporting, analysis etc.
Job Description:

Job Responsibilities
  • Designing, developing and preparing accurate and timely financial statements, reporting and analysis.
  • Identifying and researching trends and developments.
  • Leading special projects and ad-hoc reporting requests.
  • Collaborating with others identifying process improvements.
Job Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment
Experience
  • 3 years - Reporting, data analysis, or similar experience required.
  • Weighted equivalent years of relevant work experience - 1 year experience in public accounting = 2 years of applicable work experience
Skills\Certifications
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with senior leadership teams
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles and accountability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proven priority-setting and project management skills
