Framatome is seeking a Accounting Associate for our Old Forest Road office in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform various accounting activities within Treasury and Tax functions
• Daily posting of cash receipts (Accounts Receivable)
• Assisting in preparation of tax returns & tax accounting calculations, and various treasury administration tasks.

Travel: Occasional/sporadic

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this opportunity:

• H.S. Diploma plus a minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting or related field or Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration plus 4 years experience

The following may be used to differentiate candidates who apply for this position:

• Experience in general accounting, treasury or related field.
• B.S. Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, procedures and terminology.
• Software usage with emphasis on spreadsheet and data entry.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Our total rewards package

The range of base salary for the position is between $21 - $26 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
