The Accounting Manager position will join the growing accounting team at Rollins. This is a high-exposure position that will support the organization’s accounting and finance functions. The successful candidate will develop, implement, and maintain end-to-end accounting functions for our international brands as a liaison to facilitate an efficient monthly closes and identify opportunities to drive efficiencies in the close process. This position will, in addition, develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls while ensuring that the reporting and activities adhere to GAAP, IFRS and company policies. This position reports to the Divisional Controller, International, and works closely with Operations, IT, and other cross functional team members.

Responsibilities:
You Will. . .

Support the financial statement month-end close process through timely and effective review of journal entries, reconciliations and managing close deliverables

Ability to perform analyses regarding monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting

Effective communication - comfortable in presenting and explaining results to the senior members of the team (CFOs, CAO, VP of Accounting, etc.)

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365, primarily advanced Excel skills

Collaborate with Assistant Divisional Presidents and other finance and operational team members, to ensure policies and procedures are effectively communicated and followed

Perform and oversee effectiveness for key financial controls

Assist in integration and policy alignment for new acquisitions

Assist Internal Reporting with timely preparation of selected Board pages

Prepare sections to the quarterly Board Analysis Package for the Executives

Organize, strong time management/prioritizing abilities, and fastidious with details

Assist in the design and implementation of process improvements, including standardization, enhancements and potential automation of existing processes and systems

Work closely and directly with external auditors in the execution of the audit and quarterly reviews
- Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally with programs and operations teams

Works on Special Projects and Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:
The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):

CPA or MBA (preferred)
- 4+ years of accounting experience with a global public or large global private company; Experience with software and systems implementations is a plus
- Experience in General Ledger accounting or group consolidation

Experience in managing and leading projects
-
Intermediate to advanced excel skills required
- Skillful in proactively resolving issues and possesses process improvement skills
- Service oriented leadership qualities with superior relationship building skills
- Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience or 6+years of related experience

Experience with a larger, global public company preferred

Power BI experience preferred
