We are looking for someone who will lead and manage our Accounts Payable. This role will look to review and refine our existing PTP processes and will work closely with key stakeholders across the business.
This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to move into a broad and expanded role within a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
Take ownership of Bulb’s accounts payable process which spans multiple currencies across Bulb’s UK and US businesses
Oversee routine department activities, such as approving supplier payments and employee expenses, ensuring that they are paid accurately and on time
Maintain accurate and complete supplier records
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders across Bulb.
Manage a team of 3 to 4 accounts payable professionals
Work closely with Bulb’s Special Administrator’s payments and supplier management teams
Must have skills
Previous experience within accounts payable
Previous management experience
Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
Problem solver and the ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
Experience using Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel or Google Sheets
Nice to have skills (but not essential)
Experience working in large organisation and prior experience working in energy or utilities
Experience working with high volume of transactions in industries such as energy retail
Experience working in a fast paced start-up environment
Experience with DocuPeak and Netsuite
