Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Overview

The Accounts Payable Specialist processes all accounts payable transactions, reconciles accounts payable accounts, and generates payments to vendors and payees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely data entry of vendor and shared service invoices
• Ensure proper coding and accuracy of data entry for vendor invoices processed at each business unit
• Conduct weekly check runs including preparation for mailing checks
• Assist with month end close activities, i.e, validating A/P aging ties to General Ledger
• Capable of operating in multi-systems
• 1099s
• Other duties as assigned
