Accounts Receivable Manager - ABA
Ivy Rehab Network has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an AR Manager - ABA ! This role can be [done fully remote] and reports directly to the Revenue Cycle Billing Partner of Pediatrics. In this role, the successful teammate will primarily be responsible for all ABA billing duties involved in a complete billing cycle with follow up required. This position is based out of our office in White Plains, New York, with the opportunity to work remotely.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fostering and driving cross-functional collaboration to exceed cash collections, reduce days in AR, and reduce denial and adjustment rates

Building relationships with and managing third-party billing and system vendors to create a best-in-class RCM function

Preparing regular reporting for the field and partnering with operational leadership on all aspects of revenue cycle

Build and maintain strong relationships with Front Office Operations, helping to improve overall KPI’s

Assisting in RCM transformation with a deep understanding and execution of scalable, enterprise solutions and strategies to further business objectives

Identifying and resolving issues through special projects and/or analysis, and address escalations

Ensure timely billing for ABA payers, including secondary billing
-
Review and prepare medical billing as needed per state/county requirements

Maintain accurate notes and communication in the patient’s ledger/chart

Ensure accuracy of insurance information and verification, working with PC if any discrepancies

Follow up on Accounts Receivable by insurance, collecting required information to have claim processed or appealed

Manage third-party vendor to successfully have claims paid
-
Track and resolve discrepancies, based on partial payments and contracts

Assist PCS and patients with billing related questions

Prepare reports as needed for the Governing Body

Perform other duties as directed by the Governing Body
REQUIREMENTS:

High school graduate
-
ABA experience preferred
-
Process improvement mindset and thought leadership; ability to define and implement new processes and workflows

Knowledge of medical terminology
-
Knowledge of ICD10 and CPT codes
-
Ability to perform clerical/phone duties
-
Proficient at Raintree, Microsoft Office programs

Proficient at data entry

Demonstrated experience using Microsoft products including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
