About the Position:

The QA Automation Engineer ensures the quality and reliability of our evolving suite of software applications. This position plays a crucial role in verifying the functionality, performance, and stability of our MS Windows, mobile and cloud-based solutions, through a combination of automated and manual testing techniques. The QA Automation Engineer collaborates with software engineers to develop software solutions that facilitate organizational goals. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in testing and supporting IT platforms. 
• Solid understanding of fundamental programming concepts and software development principles. 
• Ability to develop simple software solutions using a programming language such as VB.NET or C#.
• 3+ years of experience using Transact SQL (TSQL).
• Experience testing web-based and mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience developing automated test scripts using Selenium.
• Experience performing various types of manual testing (functional, integration, regression, exploratory).
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking.
• Knowledge of data modelling (database concepts) and data visualization tools (like Visio).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced communication skills, both written and oral.
• Be available for after-hours work for issue resolution and system upgrades as necessary.
• Be someone that is excited about improving processes and helping drive efficiency and excellence.
• Ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously with regular interruptions while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and maintain a high standard of professional courtesy, flexibility, confidentiality and discretion while working collaboratively in an office environment, independently and as a team member.
